pimiento-less cheese dipA TAKE ON THE CLASSIC SOUTHERN DIP
Inspired by the classic Southern dip–so addictively delicious, it’s nearly impossible to have just one bite of it. It’s the pimento cheese you know and love–but we took out the pimentos and put in Sweet Viking™ Relish in its place, and oh boy.
Even better, it takes about 5 minute to put together, then into the fridge until you’re ready to go to chow town. If you’re having a dinner party or bringing it to a potluck, you may want to go ahead and double the recipe. #justsaying
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1-3 tablespoons Sweet Viking™ Relish
Salt and pepper taste
**Add dill and chives for dramatic effect **
Take softened cream cheese and shredded cheese together. Add in the mayo, Sweet Viking™ peppers and Worcestershire. Add everything else.
Mix it to the best of your ability.
If you have the self-control and will power necessary to put bowl from step one into the fridge, that is recommended. I recommend to chill at least one hour, but also I won’t judge you if you keep doing “quality control” during that hour. I won’t even know.
